A New Zealand yacht missing for 16 days has been found drifting off the Chatham Islands with its damaged sails still up.
But there was no sign of life on solo sailor Paul Janse van Rensburg's 11m steel craft Tafadzwa.
Last night, a fishing vessel pulled alongside, but the 3m swell made conditions too rough for the crew to try to board the ghost yacht.
An attempt was to be made this morning
I think this is very sad because the person on the boat could have fallen off or died and is sad for all his family and friends.
